We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team.
The Firm:
ExValue Trading is a proprietary trading firm with a primary focus on electronic markets. One of our main goals is to automate as much as possible, reducing manual activity to a minimum.
We predominantly use Rust for our trading systems and Python for our automations. Our systems are developed and maintained in-house, with a strong emphasis on performance and reliability.
We have an informal work culture and value results over hours spent. As a small team, we seek someone who can work independently and is eager to adopt new technologies.
The Role:
This role is perfect for someone who wants to have a significant impact within a small team. You are results-oriented, pragmatic, and agile. You will focus on our core systems, developing new features and enhancing existing ones.
The work style is hybrid and you can choose your own working place and schedule, as long as there is enough overlap with the rest of the team, the conditions are very flexible. We do not care if you work from home, a beach or a mountain, as long as you deliver your work on time and with quality.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
- Ensure high performance and reliability of systems.
- Automate complex processes involving multiple systems.
Qualifications:
- You have a STEM degree OR equivalent industry experience.
- Engineering mindset.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- 3+ years of work experience with C, C++ or Rust. Applicants without Rust experience must be willing to learn and develop proficiency.
- Experience working in Linux environment.
- Experience in multithreading and network programming is a plus.

We're hiring a Quantitative Trader to research and run fully automated electronic digital asset strategies (HFT or short-term). This is a high-autonomy, high-ownership seat: you'll operate like a strategy owner, with the freedom to move fast, improve existing strategies, and bring your own ideas to production.
We already trade globally across multiple venues, 24/7, with infrastructure in place. We're expanding operations and want someone who's excited to participate in that growth.
What You'll Do:
- Own strategy research and iteration end-to-end: signals, execution logic, parameterization, and performance improvement
- Develop and validate new strategy ideas and take them through research to live operation
- Monitor live strategies and drive improvements through disciplined post-trade analysis
Requirements:
- 4+ years total experience in systematic/quant trading (market making experience is a plus)
- 1+ year hands-on experience in digital assets
- Experience in electronic trading (HFT and/or short-term)
- Background at a professional trading firm (prop/market maker/hedge fund)
- Owner mindset: independent, accountable, entrepreneurial, and comfortable making decisions with limited process
Important:
- No backend development or deployment in this role
- Focus is CLOB electronic markets or DEX
